The Travels & Learnings in the Life of an Artist & Spiritual Seeker
New 2015 Women's "Art Discoveries" Retreat
Jean and I have dug deeper into our life and creative experiences to re-fashion this year's retreat. Last year we used the time up in the Sierras for recharging, doing a local presentation for Journaling and re-shaping a retreat that will delve more into who we are as artists, why we create and how to expand upon that - using journaling, painting, mixed media and words. All the same juicy stuff!! Join us September 13 - 18, 2015, for "Art Discoveries" aplenty! And remember if you sign up before July 15th, you'll add two additional free nights to continue romping!!
Magical 2013 Women's Journaling Retreat
The unique intimacy and personal seeking that took place this year so touched me. It reminded me of why I love creating and following through with this annual event. We switched out our Duck Lake hike with an new, and totally successful, adventure up to Mosquito Lake! But here, you can read about the daily chronicle.
3rd Annual Women's Journaling Alpine Retreat
Words describing our 2012 gathering (like playful, delicious, musical, more gourmet, insightful, restful, tactile) but the biggest word was: SOLD OUT. All beds were spoken for, menu gobbled down and new processes delightfully completed. Think about signing up for the 2013 retreat (you get 2 additional nights FREE if you sign up by July 15th) ... and just to tantalize you, visit this year's Itinerary!

The fascinating and talented artist who Tandem-Taught with me was Jean Warren, http://www.jeanwarren.com/. My hope was this retreat would be relaxing, renewing and enlightening ~ ~ and quoting Jean, "wasn't it so amazingly joyful and perfect?!" It surpassed my hopes!

Welp, somewhere Thursday disappeared. It did take place tho - I have evidence of it!
Continuing with updating my Journal . . . from the day January 18th, when Roland, Cody & I went for our very first snowshoeing trek, I grabbed a Rogue River reference from photos and "imagined" the rocks in the center of the river.
Then, the playful evening, January 19th, when we went to celebrate a friend's birthday at the Annual Blues Festival. Besides having knees that are still "talking" to me from dancing, my sweetest memory was of this sweet, old gentleman, who never stopped dancing all night AND had a new "cutie" dancing with him with each new song. Another marvelous mentor for living well.
