Jean and I have dug deeper into our life and creative experiences to re-fashion this year's retreat. Last year we used the time up in the Sierras for recharging, doing a local presentation for Journaling and re-shaping a retreat that will delve more into who we are as artists, why we create and how to expand upon that - using journaling, painting, mixed media and words. This first "Women's Journaling Retreat" took place in the California Sierras, September 19 - 24, 2010 at Lake Alpine, California! The fascinating and talented artist who Tandem-Taught with me was Jean Warren, http://www.jeanwarren.com/. My hope was this retreat would be relaxing, renewing and enlightening ~ ~ and quoting Jean, "wasn't it so amazingly joyful and perfect?!" It surpassed my hopes!
